DIY St. Patrick’s Day Napkin Rings

If you plan on hosting any St. Patrick’s Day parties or gatherings, or if you just want to add a pop of holiday spirit to your dinner table, these St. Patrick’s Day Napkin Rings are sure to fit the bill. Made from a few simple dollar store supplies, these napkin rings take just minutes to make and are so easy even the kids will want to join in on the fun. Take a look and see how to make your own, they are sure to invite the luck of the Irish into your home (or at least add a little green to your table) in a way that is fun and
frugal.

Supplies needed:
Green glitter foam
Faux silk clovers
Hot glue, glue gun

We were able to find green glitter foam at our local Dollar Tree store in the craft supply aisle. It is sold in a pack of 6 various colors. We were also able to snag a bouquet of the silk clovers in the floral section. The total cost for this project was around $2, not bad considering we can make quite a few napkin rings at that price!

Directions:
1. Begin by cutting your green glitter foam into 2 inch wide strips. We used scalloped scissors for ours but you can use straight edge if that’s all you have on hand.

2. Bend the strips into a loop shape and secure with glue.

3. Cut a thinner strip of glitter foam and turn it over so the plain green side is exposed. Wrap the strip around the ring and secure it with glue.

4. Embellish the napkin ring with a simple clover. Cut a single clover from the bouquet and attach it with a generous amount of glue.

That’s all there is to it! In no time you can make these adorable St. Patrick’s Day napkin rings and add some luck and look to your dinner table. Head to your dollar store and gather your supplies and give this craft a try!
