Flower Pot Fairy Garden
You may have wanted to try making your own fairy garden, but don’t have the time or energy to come up with something grand and complex. Well the good news is, you don’t have to! You can make your own miniature fairy garden version in nothing more than a flower pot. Take a look below at how we created this flower pot fairy garden, small enough to fit in the palm of your hand.
Here is what you will need:
Miniature flower pot and saucer ($1 or less at most craft stores)
We found everything we needed at our local craft and dollar store. Get the color ribbon that appeals to you and your tastes. The same goes for the crafting mushrooms, as you can often find them in a variety of colors and even sizes.
1. Begin by filling the flower pot with crafting moss. Layer several different colors and textures if possible. Make the pot nice and full, with the moss flowing out of the sides.
2. Add a layer of ribbon around the top of the pot. Cut it to fit and secure it with glue to the pot.
3. Add a bit of hot glue to the stems of your mushrooms and secure them into place. Nestle them into the moss until they are secure.
You can now set your fairy garden out for the fairies to frolic to! Set it on a porch or in a sunroom. You will not want to leave it outside in the elements however as the rain will ruin it. So give this little flower pot fairy garden a try. It is the perfect, cozy little retreat that is simple and cheap to make but packs a lot of punch. Give one a try and see how the fairies in your yard like it.
